Beaver Trail
Beaver trail is considered easy. It’s mainly flat with only a few steep hills. It’s one of the shorter trails at 4km total and starts at the entrance of Birchwood Trails. Beaver Trail loops and you can walk the whole thing in about an hour or less. If you’re just getting into hiking or want some fresh air this is a great trail to take.
Fox Trail
This is a short but somewhat intense little trail with multiple small hills with some steep inclines. It takes about 20 minutes to walk and this trail doesn’t loop. In order to reach the start of fox you need to start on beaver and then the trail branches off unto fox. I would classify this as an intermediate hike depending on your fitness level due to the amount of hills. If you want to get your heart rate up then cool down again on beaver this trail would fit the bill.
Please note if you are biking this trail there are batches of thick loose gravel when coming down the hills.
